Gala & Occasions

Gala. A dinner suit is no suit in black. Shawl collar or peak lapel, silk on the lapel, braid down the trouser, no belt loops. With it the silk bow tie, matched to the lapel.

Ball. What is worn to music has to move. A night is long. The cut decides whether you still stand straight at two.

Wedding. To your own you wear the suit you go on wearing. A three-piece in navy or mid-grey, with the waistcoat. For groom and witnesses, cloth and detail are matched. Recognisable, not uniform.
